By employing Narrative’s interior design department, this terraced Victorian property nestled behind Columbia road market, had to meet a brief of calm amongst a busy area of London. Soft parquet wood flooring, natural wood shutters, painted panelling, bold colour statements and the regeneration of the courtyard garden were all complemented by a new kitchen by Narrative. Upstairs the light painted floors, conversion of a bedroom into a new en-suite with Lusso stone products and encaustic tiles created the balance needed between airiness and intimacy that the client sought. To finish, was a study to assist our clients need to work from home but also giving them the ability to utilise the space as a spare room as well. Apparently, he now struggles leaving the house!
